The graceful and elegant fronds of this colourful fern are quite incredible. In the first year, they produce green leaves that eventually slide in hue to wondrous shades of slate grey and silver with distinct purple markings.
This hardy fern makes a sophisticated architectural addition to shady borders or woodland gardens, and can even be grown in containers in a cool greenhouse or conservatory.
